There is a totally amazing article in last week's new Yorker about the disappeared activists whose orphaned children were sometimes adopted by the military, and how those children sometimes learn when they are 30 or 40 that their adopted parents were partly responsible for their biological parents' death. completely insane, hard to comprehend stories, it is a must read. it pissed me off bc it failed to mention US support of the Dirty War. love you. xo
